The train passing through the center of the project area and the train station which is located in the middle of the project area is besides being the most important transportation source for this project area, it also poses an important difficulty for the project. the residential area and the commercial area completely separating by the railway, making social living spaces easily accessible from the residential area is the biggest challenge of this project.
The area where the building will be located in the project area, which is considered as a large-scale urban design, has critical importance. The designer decided to place the building at the intersection of important public transportation vehicles and axes coming from them. The rest of the project area is designed according to the open public space needs of the region.
The building at the intersection of the transition axes also designed to acts as a transition element. But the main concept idea was to create a pleasant stopping place for citizens to among the daily rush. The layout of the architectural program in the building ranged from public spaces to individual spaces on the upper floor. Spaces such as cinema, theater, an exhibition hall that will interact with open spaces in the square are placed on the ground floor. Another common point of these places is their low need for natural light. This common point provided efficient use of two-level terrain with elevation difference.
On the upper level that is also street level has workshops, studios and open working spaces with their large windows create the opportunity to easily absorb the natural light they need and to interact visually with the street. This visual interaction is an effect that makes people wonder and stop for a moment. The library on the top floor offers a quiet personal space that is away from the crowd of the lower floors with a and view of the square.
