The biggest problem with the settlement on one floor was the efficient solution of circulation. As a solution, the designer planned the settlement by dividing the spaces into three groups according to their functions, these are the main laboratory, the management section where the offices are located and the living areas with the side functions.Another problem of the settlement in the horizontal is to provide the natural light as possible to the inside. The first solution was to increase the facade area in order to get light to the large laboratory area. The entrance facade designed using glass and concrete materials. The broken facade designed with the facing the east to block strong sunlight from the south and let in the softer sunlight from the north. As a second solution, the main laboratory part was raised compared to other departments, allowing it to be more spacious and to receive more natural light through the roof windows. In the raised laboratories decided to use space frame roof system to create larger areas without structural columns.

Two small courtyards, which serve as air chimneys, have been placed in the laboratories to provide manual ventilation for the emergency. The designer decided to design the courtyards as dividing spaces for large indoor spaces and and richen them with green visual layers. This solution, which is not expected to be in a laboratory environment, was intended to have a positive psychological and visual impact.
